Terms & Conditions
Please read carefully the terms and conditions for our Train the Trainer course
The Terms and Conditions set out below constitute the legal agreement between you and the Sophie Lancaster Foundation relating to the provision of Train the Trainer training courses.
Acceptance of booking and invoicing
- The Sophie Lancaster Foundation reserves the right to not accept a booking.
- If a booking request is made using the online booking form on the Sophie Lancaster Foundation website, you will receive an automatic response at the end of the booking form confirming your responses have been recorded and we have received your booking request.
- A booking should only be deemed to be accepted when the Sophie Lancaster Foundation issues an invoice in respect to the booking.
Course Fees and Payment
- Sessions will be invoiced once a booking request has been received. Payment is due 14 days prior to the course start date.
- The Sophie Lancaster Foundation reserves the right to refuse an attendee entry if payment has not been received by the required date.
- For online courses, a boxed S.O.P.H.I.E. resource is sent via post to delegates following receipt of payment. Please ensure your finance department are aware they need to pay the Sophie Lancaster Foundation invoice promptly. Delegates need to use the resource pack during the course activities.
- For in-person courses, delegates receive the boxed S.O.P.H.I.E. resource on arrival at the training.
Purpose of training and intellectual property rights
- The Sophie Lancaster Foundation’s ‘Train the Trainer’ course is designed to train professionals in a range of settings to deliver the S.O.P.H.I.E. workshop to the young people in their own school or organisation.
- The Train the Trainer course and S.O.P.H.I.E. resource are copyright of the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.
- Attendance of the Train the Trainer course permits the delegate to deliver the S.O.P.H.I.E. Workshop training in their own organisation for no cost.
- Delegates are prohibited from delivering the S.O.P.H.I.E. Workshop training to external organisations or individuals on a commercial basis or for any form of payment.
Personal Data
- All personal data supplied will be processed by the Sophie Lancaster Foundation in accordance with the terms in our Privacy Policy and your data will never be shared.
